Terms of purchase

This is what applies when you buy from Printhead, both ready-made products from the shop and 3D prints of your own file. We have kept it as simple as we can. Nothing here limits your rights under the law.

2Who these terms are for

The terms apply to every purchase on printhead3d.se:

  • Products: ready-made products from the shop, such as battery mounts and tool holsters.
  • 3D prints: parts we print from a file you upload, or from a part you made in our designer.

If you buy as a private person, all of the terms apply. If you buy for a business, section 12 applies instead of the rules on withdrawal and complaints. To buy, you need to be at least 18 or have a guardian's permission.

3Orders and the contract

Once you have paid, you get an order confirmation with a receipt by email. That is when the purchase is complete. Check that the details are right and get in touch straight away if something is wrong.

We can refuse or cancel an order if the price is obviously wrong because of a technical error, if we suspect fraud, or if a file can't be printed or breaks section 6. We then refund the full amount.

4Prices and payment

All prices are in Swedish kronor including VAT. Shipping, the handling fee (39 kr per order with 3D prints) and express if you choose it are shown at checkout before you pay.

The price of a 3D print is worked out from your file and your choices: material, colour, quality and quantity. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

You pay with the methods shown at checkout, today card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) and Klarna. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your card details. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna's terms also apply.

5Delivery

We ship with PostNord. An order normally ships within 1–3 working days after you pay. If you choose express, your order goes to the front of the queue. If it will take longer, we tell you first, and you can then cancel and get your money back. Unless agreed otherwise, we deliver within 30 days of the purchase at the latest.

Small parcels come in your letterbox. Bigger parcels go to a PostNord service point near your address, and PostNord tells you when it's ready to collect. Bring ID.

The goods are at our risk until you have received them. If a parcel isn't collected and comes back to us, we may charge for the shipping and the return shipping and refund the rest.

We also ship to Norway, Denmark and Finland. Email us before you order and we'll work out the shipping. For deliveries to Norway, customs duty and import charges may apply, and you pay them.

6Your file and your prints

You are responsible for having the right to let us print the file you upload: you made the model yourself, the licence allows it, or you have permission from whoever made it. Many free models online are for private use only, so read the licence before you order.

We don't print weapons or weapon parts, things that are illegal to own, or things we judge could be used to hurt someone. We may turn down an order, and we then refund the full amount.

We check that the file can be printed, but not that its measurements suit what you will use the part for. The part is printed from the file as it is.

3D printed parts have visible layers and can differ slightly in size and colour from the file and the pictures on screen. That isn't a fault, as long as the part matches the order and works the way such a part should.

We use the file to print your order and keep it so you can easily order again. Read more in the privacy policy.

7Right of withdrawal

As a private person you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on products from the shop. The period starts on the day you receive the goods. If an order arrives in several parcels, it starts when you have received the last one.

The right of withdrawal doesn't apply to 3D prints of a file you uploaded or a part you made in our designer, because they are made to your specifications (Swedish Distance Contracts Act, chapter 2, section 11, point 3). If something is wrong, you can always make a complaint, see section 8.

How to withdraw from a purchase:

  1. Tell us within 14 days. Email nemo@printhead3d.se or use the withdrawal form. A clear statement that you are withdrawing is enough.
  2. Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return shipping.
  3. We refund everything you paid for the goods, the shipping and the handling fee, except the extra cost of express. We do this within 14 days of receiving your notice, but we may wait until we have the goods back or you have shown that you sent them. The money goes back the same way you paid.

You may examine the goods the way you would in a shop. If they have been used beyond that, for example screwed to a wall, we may deduct for the loss in value.

8Complaints

If something is broken, misprinted or not what you ordered, you have the right to complain under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. You can complain about faults that existed when you received the goods for three years. A fault that shows up within two years is presumed to have been there from the start, unless we can show otherwise.

Get in touch as soon as you notice the fault. A complaint within two months is always in time.

Email nemo@printhead3d.se with your order number and what is wrong. Pictures or a short video showing the fault help us solve it faster.

If the goods are faulty, you choose whether you want a new one or your money back. We pay the shipping both ways.

It isn't a fault if the damage comes from normal wear, wrong mounting or use, loads beyond what the part can take, or heat beyond what the material can handle. Nor are measurements or function that come from your own file.

If the parcel is damaged when it arrives, take pictures of the parcel and its contents and get in touch as soon as you can.

9Mounting and liability

Follow the mounting instructions and use screws and plugs that suit your wall and what will hang there. We aren't liable for damage caused by wrong mounting or by using a part for something it isn't made for.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.

10If we can't agree

Always contact us first, and we'll try to solve it. If we can't agree, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, arn.se. We follow ARN's recommendations.

Swedish law applies to the purchase. Disputes that can't be solved otherwise are settled by a Swedish general court.

11Personal data

We process your details so we can deliver your order. How we do it, and your rights, are in the privacy policy.

12Buying for a business

If you buy in a company's name, the Swedish Sale of Goods Act applies instead of the Consumer Sales Act, and there is no right of withdrawal. Report faults within a reasonable time after you notice them. If something is faulty we send a new one or refund you. Our liability is limited to the price of the goods, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or production stops.

Need a receipt with your company's name and registration number, or want to order larger batches? Email nemo@printhead3d.se.

13Changes

We may change these terms. Your purchase follows the terms that were here when you ordered.
